Ayn Rand, a Russian-born American novelist and philosopher, sold millions
of copies of her books and essays on economics and politics.
At the origin of the philosophy of Objectivism, she has deeply
influenced America and the Libertarian movement. An individualist and
fierce supporter of laissez-faire capitalism, she counted among her many
followers former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan.
